Our products build on open, peer-reviewed algorithms developed by the USDA. Using these proven methods gives us a transparent foundation for spread predictions and lets users inspect assumptions and parameters used in simulations.

Field calibration in Mediterranean ecosystems

Decades of field work across Mediterranean-type landscapes — including Portugal — inform our fuel characterisation. That local calibration improves model realism for fuel loads, moisture responses and expected fire behavior.

Data fusion & continuous validation

We integrate satellite observations, local field inputs and sensor data to update model inputs continuously. All outputs are cross-checked against historical events and updated when new ground-truth becomes available.
